Building Data

Contains the state of the 3D buildings both for static data like materials or view factors and dynamic variables such as facade temperature or heat fluxes. Data are stored in a 3D field with a data triple for X- , Y- and Z-Walls in each cell.

The Building data files are produced each main output interval (default: 60 min) and represent the general state of the building at the given model time. They are divided into static and dynamic data, the dynamic output is only written if a professional version of the software is used (not in LITE).

Variable list

This list represents the general variable structure. The actual sequence of the variables might differ but the same information is stored in total.

Variable Unit Description
Albedo of facade - Albedo of the facade, the proportion of the radiation that is reflected by the facade
Transmission of facade - Transmission of the facade, fraction of shortwave radiation transmitted through the material
Emissivity of facade - Emissivity of the facade, emissivity for longwave thermal radiation
View factor sky - Proportion of sky that can be seen by the facade element
View factor soil - Proportion of soil that can be seen by the facade element
View factor bldg - Proportion of buildings that can be seen by the facade element
View factor veg - Proportion of vegetation that can be seen by the facade element
Building number - Building number of building. Links both to the INX file/ Monde input files and to the individual BLDG_STATISTICS, BLDG_LIST and BLDG_STATUS text filles
Facade/ Roof Greening LAI m³/m³ LAI of Facade/Roof Greening that is applied to the element
Facade/ Roof Greening Thickness cm Thickness of Facade/Roof Greening that is applied to the element
