====== Read PLANTS.DAT + Local Database ======

Opens the [[plant database plants.dat|global database PLANTS.DAT]] and, if specified, the additional [[localdb|local database]] for plants. \\
If PLANTS.DAT is missing or the specification in the main section of the Main [[Configuration File]] is left empty, plants will be skipped. \\
The maximum amount of plants is 150 in total (Global+Local Database).

===== Possible Problems & Solution =====

==== Cannot open the database ====
Make sure that it exists and that it is readable.

==== ENVI-met does not read the Local Plant Database ====
The [[localdb|Local Database]] is only read if the [[plant database plants.dat|Global Plant Database]] was opened successfully.

==== Numeric IDs are refused ====
Plants IDs must contain a letter, numbers are not valid as they might be confused with building heights.

==== Database version is invalid ====
The database format have been changed over the version. Make sure that the file has a valid version ID (see [[plant database plants.dat|description of PLANTS.DAT]]).
