 +If you already have shapefiles (*.SHP) of your model area, you can simply import those by using the "Import from Shape File" option in the Add GIS Layer option of the Layers tab. This will open a new dialogue where you can load the shapefile you would like to import. Before adding the layer to your map, you can define some import options and the coordinate system/UTM zone.
