C-f: Update plant physiology
Updates all plant relevant parameters such as photosynthesis rate or stomata conductance with respect to the recent conditions (solar input, water availability,...)
Possible Problems & Solution:
Problems can occur, if water supply is very low:
We have restricted the minimum water supply to 10% of the saturated value to prevent these problems.
Problems can occur, if shortwave radiation is very high:
In this case, the used model might fail. This happens very rarely under extreme situations.
Changing to the Deardorff model (see [PLANTMODEL] section) might solve the problem.
