 +====== [SOLARADJUST] Section ======
 +<fs smaller>see also: [[Preview Solar Radiation]], [[Interface>Basic Meteorology]]</fs>
 +===== Purpose =====
 +Solar adjustment is a **new feature** of ENVI-met 3.1. It allows to adjust the shortwave solar radiation calculated by ENVI-met to your situation.
 +For certain locations it might be the case that the solar energy fluxes estimated by the internal methods of ENVI-met are systematically too high or too low. In this case, you can adjust these values from 50% to 150% of the value calculated by ENVI-met.
 +In order to find out the best value, you can use the Preview Radiation function of the interface.
 +**Please note, that in this version you can only scale the complete daily cycle, not individual hours.**

 +===== What does the line mean? =====
 +=== 01: Factor of shortwave adjustment  (Default 1) ===
 +Defines the adjustment factor for shortwave solar radiation.\\
 +Valid range is 0.5 (50% of unmodified ENVI-met value) to 1.5 (150%). Default 1 (100%)
